Marines Combat Fitness TestÂ
What is a CFT? The Combat Fitness Test is a graded workout that the U.S. Marine Corps uses to measure functional fitness and to help Marines all over America stay physically fit and ready for battle at all times. We bring this experience to your players to challenge them to grow individually and as a team.

The setup: Local Marines rotate players through three activities that will likely be the hardest seven-minute workout they have ever experienced.Â
- 880 Yard sprint.
- 30-pound ammunition can overhead press.
- Maneuver-under-fire simulated obstacle course.
- Leadership talk throughout the event.Â
If your team has 50 or fewer students, the CFT should take about 1 –1.5 hours. Groups of 50 or more students should plan for a two-hour event.
