Hi Coach,
This might lean
[Controversial]
How much time do you spend thinking about what offense… or what offensive actions you can run with the players you have or have coming back?
We all do this.
How much time do you spend thinking about your opponents and what offensive system you should run because of that?
Not many coaches let their opponents dictate their offensive strategy.
But we should!
Ask this question… What is your goal for the season?
Then ask this question… Who are you trying to beat?
There are 3 different levels of teams on your schedule.
#1 Teams you are clearly more talented than
#2 Teams very similar in talent
#3 Teams clearly more talented than you
When you choose an offense that best fits your personnel
and take it out of context of who you’re competing with… then you run the risk of lowering your ceiling of potential.
When you choose an offense be sure it can execute the strategy of tempo and style of play to compete with the team you ultimately want to beat… The ones “supposedly” better than
you!
To help you choose an offensive strategy Coach John Wheeler has been conducting an online clinic in which he has been highlighting 21 Offenses in 21 Days.
He calls the the clinic "The One Offense Away Challenge" because you just might be just one offense away from reaching new levels of success.
This is the FINAL Week of The One Offense Away Challenge.
It’s FREE to watch these final System Offense Breakdowns and how they can execute your competitive strategy!
