Hi Coach,
So What NCAA D1 Team won the last National Championship?
Kentucky?
Duke?
Michigan State?
North Carolina?
Nope! It was Virginia and Coach Bennett. (Seems like that Virginia vs Texas Tech game so long ago.)
Our latest bundle of playbooks details two offensive systems used by the Cavaliers.
His "Blocker-Mover" offense:
✔️ Use the Screener to Pick and Pop and have the cutter get into the lane / free throw line.
✔️ Makes sure that all players are interchangeable to put pressure on the defense.
✔️ Mixes in the middle triangle set plays to confuse the defense.
But Virginia runs more than just Blocker-Mover.
They added the offense some people call "Flow" or Continuity Ball-Screen Offense.
✔️The roles are less defined and any player is capable of being a scorer.
✔️It's motion offense with interspersed ball screens
✔️It’s also one of the most popular concepts in college basketball.
I definitely think that you will see Virginia run their combination offense more and more this year.
Last Year, they won 11 of their last 12 games before Covid-19 shut down the basketball season.
We have put together 4 courses that feature the Blocker-Mover and the Continuity Ball Screen Offenses
