The Coaching Toolbox
Any coach worth their salt can tell you EXACTLY what their team is good at, and…not so
good at.
And it tends to be cyclical over time.
You could have a great outside shooter, but lack size on the inside…
You could dominate the boards, but lack the speed to run great fast breaks…
So what offense can be used with any combination of talent you might have? Consider the Dribble Drive
So what is it that makes this offense such a good fit for so many teams?
Here’s the key: IT’S A POISITIONLESS OFFENSE!
There is a VERY good reason this approach is all the rage right now. And once you start using it, you’ll see why…
It just so happens that over the last few seasons, I have had a string of aggressive ball-handlers who could attack opponents in one-on-one situations and get to the rim to finish the play.
This worked well for us…
(Let’s not discuss my outside shooters right now…)
Anyway…As a result, I have been leaning to a DDM-style offense (Dribble Drive Motion…for the uninitiated)
So, since I have pulled all of this together over a long period, I thought it
would be an ideal package to send you guys.
The DDM is a great offense for all ages and skill levels.
Once you scan through this material, you’ll never get caught off guard when someone else throws
this at you, AND you can really take advantage of it when you get the right personnel in place.
I’ve put most of this stuff together myself.
(NOTE: I added a little extra Bonus Material as a bit of
extra incentive!)
It’s a great combination of Playbooks and Clinic Notes.
Here they are:
