As a teacher, I hear a lot about “immersion”, especially when it comes to learning a language.
Imagine how fast you’d learn to speak the local language if you suddenly found yourself in the middle of a foreign country where no one spoke English (and you had no cell phone app to translate for you).
Full-on immersion…
Highly effective, for sure.
I’d imagine it’s a pretty good approach with just about any skill, if you think about it…
It would work for learning a new software…
Learning to ride a motorcycle…
The list goes on and on…
Basketball coaching is no different.
