Four Reasons to Play Zone Don Meyer has four situations to switch from man to man to zone. Seeing these types of lists from any coach, has always prodded my thinking to be more prepared and more clear in my philosophy. You can't guard them man to man. They have a great post player that they isolate. They are better penetrators than shooters (ex: 1-4 low)
