12 Characteristics of Competitors
June 8, 2009 Here is a list of characteristics of competitors to share with your players. It comes from Jeff Janssen's Sports Leadership Center.
I think that some players get the idea from our society and what they see on TV that displaying emotions like yelling, kicking the bench, throwing towels, etc... when things go wrong is a sign of a competitor.
Hopefully, these ideas can help your players focus their competitive drive in a productive way for the team.
