Working to Improve Your e-mails--Please Take a Look

I have had some problems getting the e-mails through to a few long time
subscribers recently, as well as new subscribers, even after they received
a few of them. I want to do what I can to keep that from happening again.
subscribers recently, as well as new subscribers, even after they received
a few of them. I want to do what I can to keep that from happening again.
I am working to make sure that the e-mails you have registered for get
through. ISPs and school or work firewalls and e-mail filters are getting
more restrictive all the time.
more restrictive all the time.
There are times when e-mails (even ones like this one that you have
registered for) are blocked by your Internet Service Providers. This is
especially true if you registered from a school system e-mail address,
but is a problem in other cases as well.
Regardless of how long you have been receiving my e-mails, here are six
steps that you can take to improve the chances that the e-mails
will continue to get through to you, even if the filters continue to become more
strict:
(If you have already done these, there is no need to do them again)
- Add my information to your address book:
Sender: The Coaching Toolbox address: info@coachingtoolbox.net
- Reply to this e-mail, even if you don't write anything, it helps for your
ISP to see that you have e-mailed this address. It might also make
it easier for you to add this address to your address book since some
e-mail clients will ask if you want to add the e-mails that you send to
to your address book. If you have ever replied to or sent an e-mail to the
info@coachingtoolbox.net, you will not need to do that again
- Save this URL to your favorites: It is the address for the archives of the
daily e-mails. I update it at the end of each week. If there is ever an
interruption in your e-mail service, you can use it to access the e-mails.

- Register with a second e-mail address in addition to the one you are
receiving this message from.
- Follow me on Twitter. I send out a link to the daily e-mails to my Twitter
followers each day.
http://www.twitter.com/BrianWWilliams is the URL to go to click to follow me.
I only use it to send out links to the e-mails, I don't tell you what I am having
for lunch! :)
Twitter accounts are easy to set up, just go to http://www.twitter.com and
sign up if you don't already have one, then click on my link above. Each day
you will get a link in your Twitter account and be able to access the daily e-mail
- Talk to your IT administrator for where you work or e-mail your ISP provider if
you use a personal address to make sure that you are able to get the settings
right to be able to get the e-mails through.
I am typing the entire URL for the links I include, when they are not too long. If you
have trouble clicking on any of the links, copy and paste the link into your web browser.
have trouble clicking on any of the links, copy and paste the link into your web browser.
If you have trouble clicking any of the links, it is probably because your work or school
browser is blocking it. Try accessing it from home, or someplace where the restrictions
aren't as tight.
As always, please let me know if you are having any other problems with links or videos.
Different browsers and different versions of those browsers often render different outputs.
I will do the best I can to fix those issues.
