This 30 second video is an example of a half court defensive
drill.  I like it because it develops defensive reaction,
communication, and decisiveness.  You can also use it full
court.  I like to use it full court to simulate the quick reaction
involved in converting to defense following a turnover.

 

Using it full court also illustrates how hard defending a turnover
is.  It drives home the point that not only does it cost us a chance
to score, but that a live ball turnover puts our opponent in a great
position to score.
